Christmas in Bethesda starts with this fun downtown festival, Dec. 6-7th. An a cappella concert by local vocal groups starts things off on Friday night, followed by ice sculpting and an appearance from Santa himself on Saturday afternoon.
Starting November 27th at 4pm, a new candle will be lit for 8 successive nights at the National Hanukkah Menorah near the White House. The first evening is a celebratory ceremony with live music from the Air Force Band, latkes, and donuts.
