Mother’s Day

Restaurants in DC are second to none, and Mother’s Day is a great day to treat your special lady to a delicious brunch. Just don’t forget to make reservations ahead of time, because seats fill up fast. A few great places to consider are:

Bombay Club- Renowned as one of the finest restaurants in town, the cuisine here reflects the global culture of DC, full of decadently aromatic Indian flavors. The brunch buffet is $35, or $45 per person with unlimited Champagne.

Mansion on O- An adventure and wonderful brunch, guests can explore over 100 rooms and more than 32 secret doors at this unique spot. Brunch is $85 per person, children under 11 are ½ price, and kids under 5 eat free.

Rooftop Terrace Restaurant- Perched atop the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, this is the perfect place for brunch before a Mother’s Day show, with a skyline view, raw bar, and live jazz. Brunch is $39.95, or $20 for children ages 4-11.

Other Ways to Treat Mom in the DC Area- Classic attractions in the U.S. capital are even better with Mom! Treat her to a day or night cruise along the Potomac River, a free Mother’s Day tour of the famous Gadsby’s Tavern Museum, or flutter with the butterflies in the “Wings of Fancy” exhibit at Brookside Gardens at Wheaton Regional Park, just 8 miles from American Inn of Bethesda.
