Black Friday Shopping in Washington

Black Friday is the biggest shopping day in the world, and there's no better place to be than Washington DC! Not only does the Metro make getting around town a breeze, but stores start opening on Thanksgiving night, including major retailers Toys R Us and Walmart at 10pm. Then at midnight, Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets, Potomac Mills Mall, Arundal Mills Mall, and Macy's open. Not only that, all the finest boutiques, one-of-a-kind art spots, jewelry, and toy stores open early Friday, so Black Friday deals in Bethesda and beyond can't be beat!

The real fun begins on Black Friday morning, with amazing deals at local shops you won't find anywhere else! Many sales disappear as the day wears on though, so be sure to get there early. One great place to check out is Design Within Reach in Georgetown, where you can redesign your home, or give a classy, contemporary gift of Herman Miller furnishings at 15% off. Earrings and watches are 25-35% off at Express Jewelers in Arlington, while on our very own Bethesda Row, the chic boutique Ginger offers 40% off all their fierce fashion from 9-10am, 30% from 10-11am, then 20% off the rest of the day.
