With a plethora of events both big and small, the Washington D.C. region offers parades and festivals throughout the month of March dedicated to the Irish culture and Saint Patrick himself!

Alexandria Saint Patrick’s Day Parade
Enjoy the fun with your whole family! Including a classic car show, dog show, and a Saint Patrick’s Day Parade! Federal, state, and local elected officials; the Irish Ambassador; military commanders; and other local celebrities will participate along with local sounds, marines and high school bands! Annapolis Saint Patrick’s Day Parade
This Historic Annapolis St. Patrick’s Day celebration features more than 90 floats and many local organizations. Gaithersburg Saint Patrick’s Day Parade
In partnership with the Harp and Shamrock Society, the City of Gaithersburg will host a Saint Patrick’s Day Parade at Rio Washingtonian Center. Parade will include state and local officials, Gaithersburg Police, Irish dancers, pipe bands, fire trucks, equestrian units, and much more! Check out this video on Youtube for info.
Manassas Saint Patrick’s Day Parade @ 11 AM
The City of Manassas will host a Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Old Town with Irish dance groups, the Northern Virginia Firefighters Emarald Society and Drum, Washington Scottish Pipe and Drum, Fairfax County Sherrif’s Coalitition Pipe and Drum, the Marine Corps Color Guard and other area groups and organizations. National Shamrock Fest at RFK Stadium
This is the LARGEST Saint Patrick’s Day party in the region. There will be more than forty bands, food, drink, and fun activities for the entire family.
