As we officially wave goodbye to summer, it’s hard to be sad once you realize all of the great upcoming fall festivals!
The 26th Annual Taste of Bethesda is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM!
This annual event is a Bethesda staple where you’ll be able to sample the foods of more than 60 local restaurants, enjoy five stages of live entertainment and visit the kid’s corner for arts & crafts, face painting, and balloons.
Restaurants from all over downtown Bethesda prepare large, and we mean large, amounts of food and baked goods for the festival’s more than 40,000 attendees. Hard Times Café prepares 20 gallons of ice cream; Mamma Lucia serves over 800 slices of pizza; and Spring Mill Bread Company serves 1,000 slices of apple pies, brownies, cookies and bread.
What’s great about the Taste of Bethesda festival is not only will you get to try the established Bethesda favorites, but it is also an opportunity to try out what’s new in the city. Debuting this year will be: Pizza Pass, Shop House Southeast Asian Kitchen and 4935 Bar & Kitchen among many more.
Saturday, October 3, locally referred to as Best of Bethesda Day, is a very busy one. Also occurring on that day is the Come Back to Bethesda classic car show and Rescue Day. Rescue Day is an event for all ages, held just two blocks away from Taste of Bethesda, featuring fire and rescue activities and displays. This includes tours of the station, live demonstrations of emergency medical, rescue and firefighting equipment.
The city will be alive on October 3 and you won’t want to miss it! American Inn of Bethesda is the perfect hotel near Washington D.C. located in the heart of small-town, Bethesda. With local shuttle service to anywhere within one mile, you’ll have instant access to all of Bethesda’s local attractions.
Come hungry and ready to have some fun with the whole family! It’s the Bethesda way.
